Fab Foil Ice Blue

The Foils are metallic transfer leaves which allow you to create multiple effects.
You just have to apply the foil, shiny side up, on the surface which has to be sticky to catch the metallic leaf when you remove it sharply.
Different methods to use your foils :

• on raw polymer clay, the foil will stick on the whole surface, except if, for example, you apply before a stencil to draw patterns.
• on paper, carboard, etc. by using embossing ink and bonding powder, then a heat source such as household iron, heat laminator or heat tool, or double sided stickers or tape, or toner printed images.

How to use them with polymer clay :

• Prepare the surface by making it sticky in the choosen areas. For example, make a sheet of clay and apply a stencil, roll it so that it is firmly in position. The visible areas of clay will retain the foil.
• Cut out the needed amount of foil necessary for your project and apply, shiny side up. Burnish using a piece of strong paper to make the foil adhere and remove bubbles.
• Remove sharply the foil. It's almost impossible to get a total and perfect covering on the clay. Small random speckles can appear. You can put the foil again and try to fill the holes but it doesn't always work.
• When used on polymer clay, the surface must be protected after baking with varnish, UV resin, lliquid polymer clay etc.
