Carribean Blue Swellegant Dye Oxide

The 13 Swellegant Dye Oxides are translucent dies which allow you to add subtle colors to oxidized metal. They tint Metals and Oxidizations in a very natural way to add details and shades. If the oxidization of your piece seems too uniform, you can color it.

As the colors are translucent, they loose about 50% of their covering ability when dry, which allow the underlying colors to show through. But if you want a stronger color,  don't hesitate to put several layer.

Dye Oxide can also be used on raw clay to color it.

As fort other Swellegant products, mix and shake well before use. Wear gloves because theses tints will stain your fingers.

All the Dye Oxides can be mixed together, but also with Metal Coatings and Patinas.

They can be brushed, painted with sponge, etc.
